Jennifer was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. She is what some call an "implant" to Texas. Jennifer has lived in Houston Texas for 15 years and loves every bit of it. Jennifer attended Fairmont State University and West Virginia University- Go Mountaineers! and received her Bachelor’s in Education and Masters in Reading. She moved to Houston in 2008 and was introduced to her first taste of hurricane season with Hurricane Ike. After a little over a week (thankfully) of no electricity, scorching Houston heat, and getting to know her neighbors she lucked up on her first teaching job in Texas as a Special Education Teacher. Since then Jennifer has taught 2nd Grade, 4th Grade, Pre-K, In Class Support, Dyslexia and now Action Based Learning! When the school days over she loves to get outside, brunch with friends, listen to 90's Slow Jams, Race for a cause (Autism), work out and activity hop on the weekends with her husband, Ronnie and little boy, Reign (May 2019).
