Children’s Museum of Houston :: Destination Celebration {Giveaway}

It is already the end of February {…can you believe it?  Because we can’t!}, and you are probably starting to think about Spring Break.  Now I am sure that some of you are taking a lavish vacation around the world, but the vast majority of you are probably doing the exact same thing that we are – living it up with a Houston staycation.  So today we are going to tell you all about the Children’s Museum of Houston and their Destination Celebration Spring Break Bash so that you can make this year’s break one for the books!

Our friends at the Children’s Museum of Houston know how to do it right, and this two week celebration is total proof!  Bring your little ones early and be welcomed by steel drums and a colorful lei for the first 200 children in the door.  {Umbrella drinks for moms not included.}  Then, continue your all-day journey with activities like coconut trees made for climbing, bungee trampolines made for jumping, human hamster balls made for rolling, and block parties made for dancing.  Every day they will have something new, like a shaving cream pie fight on Pi Day {3.14} and a foam frenzy on March 19th.  So you will want to keep coming back for more!

Kelly is the founder of Houston Moms Blog and has lived in this beautiful city nearly all of her life. She has a degree in education from Texas State University and was honored to teach special education for eight years to some of the cutest little kiddos you could ever meet. While teaching, Kelly met Cody – a tall drink of water and country boy to the core – and together, they fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family. In March 2011, they welcomed Hayes into the world, a silly but smart little boy with a story you have to read to believe. And in April 2013, their family was complete with the addition of Hadley, a super gregarious and oh-so-cute baby girl. Now, Kelly devotes her days to caring for her own little ones…and would not trade this new job of hers for the world! In her not-so-spare time, Kelly loves meeting up with her girlfriends for margaritas, failing miserably at Pinterest projects, and exploring this big old city with her two favorite little side-kicks in tow.
