I tried two of their recipes this week. The first one was the braised chicken with garlic and thyme, with blanched asparagus and oven baked mini potatoes on the side. I loved all of the fresh food MangoPan provided, so there were no mystery ingredients going in to our dinner. The conveniently labeled packaging made the meal so easy to prepare. I was also able to do a little bit of the recipe at a time, so I could attend to my kiddos while still making worthwhile progress on dinner.  This meal turned out great, and I was especially proud of myself for making asparagus for the first time!

The second recipe was linguine pasta and meatballs. This was definitely a few steps up from our typical weeknight spaghetti {ahem…sauce in a can and frozen meatballs}. This recipe was also easy to follow and incorporated quality ingredients. I liked that since it’s not a pre-made meal, I can modify the recipe if necessary. For this one, I used about half of the onions that it called for since I’m not a big fan of them. Assembling the meatballs was much quicker than I anticipated, bringing the overall prep time to about 30 minutes. The spaghetti sauce had a great flavor which made this my favorite meal out of the two.

And now, MangoPan is treating one lucky reader to a MangoPan Box complete with two meals – one chicken and one beef dish.  {Or if you’re a vegetarian, they can swap that out for two veggie meals instead!} Enter below to win, and don’t forget to tell your friends too.  Who knows – maybe they will invite you over for dinner if they win!

It didn’t take long after graduation for her to meet her husband Jeremy on the sand volleyball courts at Memorial Park. She jokes that when marrying Jeremy, she also married LSU because she tied the knot with the most passionate Tiger football fan. Many weekends in the fall, they can be found in the shadows of Tiger Stadium at their big family tailgating party. Brittney has a Master's Degree from LSU and works in secondary education as an administrator and a cheerleading coach. Brittney and Jeremy have three boys, Connor {Nov 2012}, Parker {Nov 2014}, and Ryan {May 2018}. Brittney is a big baby-making, food allergy fighting, NICU surviving mom. Though she grew up surrounded by hairbows, pom poms, and lots of pink, Brittney now embraces being a boy mom. She loves raising her three boys and learning all about superheroes, baseball, and the pain of stepping on a lego when barefoot. In her kid-free time she enjoys working on craft projects, getting lost in a good book, and watching Grey's Anatomy.

  1. To a busy family. My husband and I have full time jobs including the kids with their extra (extra) curricular activities. This would be an ideal service, especially when offering fresh food. Win-Win!

  2. Would love to win and try this service out. I’m always in a rut deciding on what to make my family for dinner.

  3. I have already followed Mango Pan and Houston Mom’s Blog & tweeted on twitter but it’s not crediting my points. Can you help?
