We had the opportunity to meet with our team in January to meet, collaborate, and take those superb headshots {Thanks to Eighty-Two Photography!!} at Dukessa Houston. Y’all, we were treated like ROYALTY! Not only was the night filled with laughter and wine, we came expecting light hor d’ourves, but were pleasantly surprised with dinner and a full meal. The dinner consisted of avocado toast with goat cheese, shrimp and grits, a delish chicken and potatoes with a super yum white wine cream sauce. For dessert they served us a yum-o bread pudding with strawberries. I do not even like bread pudding, y’all, and this one was out of this world.

No lie, you guys, I took some chicken home and got soooo angry at my husband for eating my leftovers as his midnight snack. In order to get back at him, I quickly booked a lunch with some girlfriends the next day at 2840 at Dukessa. They are open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11:00am – 2:00pm. Our pictures were in the beginning of January and I have legitimately been twice because of how good the food is. I have met clients and sponsors at this yummy lunch place, making a working lunch totally worth it. Not to mention, with it being a straight shot to the Galleria, it’s the perfect place to kick off a shopping trip with the girls, too! The beautiful decor is only matched by the yummy food.

I’m a sucker for the romantic Christmas lights look and their patio is perfectly set. The staircase is also a stunning piece of architecture. We’ve been to a wedding reception at Dukessa, but stripped of the fancy wedding decor, you really see exactly how stunning this space is.

2840 at Dukessa is branching out from lunch to join the dinner game with their Valentine’s Day Pop Up Dinner, so I’ve also booked a babysitter so that I can enjoy their 5 course meal, set at one of the most romantic spots in the city, with my husband and their unique European wines.

Join us by reserving your spot now!

She and her husband Greg met in 2010 through Match.com and fell in love on their first date. They married exactly one year later and have fought lovingly and constantly since. They have two amazingly brilliant girls, Kaitlyn {June 2013} and Elizabeth {June 2015} who Jen stays home with during the day.
