Easy Crafts to Celebrate Mom at Home

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we’ve got tons of ideas for crafts to help you celebrate at home. We tried to compile a list of easy craftivities that can be pulled together using materials you probably already have around the house.

Easy Crafts to Celebrate Mom at Home

Here are our top 10 favorites::

  1. This paper straw tulips craft is too, too cute. Added bonus? It uses everyday supplies that you hopefully already stock at home {sub plastic straws for the paper ones OR make your own out of scrap construction paper}. No emergency drive up trip to Target necessary here!
  2. These paper bowl flowers look super fun to make with your kids, too. If you have some small paper bowls and tissue paper lying around, you can make these with your kids.
  3. Personally, I love crafts that incorporate my children’s handprints and footprints. They’re such good ways to remember how tiny they were at that age. If this sounds like your kind of thing, too, then you may want to try your hand at making a handprint and footprint flower bouquet with your littles!
  4. Short on crafting supplies at home? If you have a clean jar, paper, and a writing utensil, then you can make this! Mom will be over the moon if you make her this Reasons Why I Love You jar seen here. Not only will the kiddos be crafting, they’ll also be working their reading and writing skills at the same time. It’s a win-win all around. Easy Crafts to Celebrate Mom at Home
  5. Everyone knows moms are also full time superheroes. Celebrate mom by surprising her with this absolutely adorable DIY superhero craft! What’s even better than superheros? Superheros with chocolate, that’s what.
  6. Does your kiddo like to roll up her sleeves and get messy? If so, these salt dough thumbprint hearts would be so neat to make together. “Thumb body loves you!” Gotta love those mom jokes.
  7. I’m not sure about you, but my preschooler loooooves collecting nature when we go out for walks. This super cute stick heart craft takes those sticks and twigs and turns them into frameable, hangable art pieces.
  8. This precious All About My Mommy interview sheet will be a keepsake for years to come. This is a perfect activity for slightly older kiddos. Scroll all the way down and click on the download banner for the free Google drive printable.
  9. This isn’t a Mother’s Day specific idea but I think these free craft printable princess crowns from First Palette are toooo cute. Print them out on cardstock and let the kids go to town decorating them. Mom will love wearing your creations on her special day!
  10. Last but not least, this sweet “Huggy Mother’s Day” card looks easy and fun to make. I love that this is a kid-led craft that requires little parental supervision to complete.

Hope you found this list of crafts helpful! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. We hope you all have fun celebrating your special day!
