Our Co-Title Sponsor

In order to bring you our first ever Spring EGGstravaganza, we have teamed up with The Village School to host a wonderful, family-friendly event.  In case you have yet to hear of The Village School, they are an amazing private school option for families in the greater Houston area.  With a preschool program starting as early as age 2 and spanning all the way up to 12th grade, their hands-on and innovative approach to creating life-long learners is one of a kind.  We are over the moon to be hosting our first ever Spring EGGstravaganza on their beautiful grounds, and we know you will love their open fields, quaint courtyard, and wonderful campus too!

In addition to our FOUR different egg hunts {more info below}, we are thrilled to offer several other entertainment and activity options for your family to enjoy as well.  Just be sure to bring your camera phone, as there will be LOTS of photo opps all afternoon long!

Egg Hunt Details

In an effort to promote a safe, organized, and FUN family-focused event, we will have four mini egg hunts {divided by age group} on the grassy fields at The Village School. Prior to each of the hunts, children will line up with their age group, receive their reusable tote bag for egg and prize collecting, and enter as is safe. Each egg hunt will last approximately 15 minutes, and prizes and eggs will be refreshed after each hunt. The age limits are meant as a guide, but we are counting on you to use your best judgment…

4:15 – 4:30 pm :: Crawlers {6 months – 1 year of age}
4:40 – 4:55 pm :: Toddlers {1 – 2 years of age}
5:05 – 5:20 pm :: Preschoolers {3 – 4 years of age}
5:30 – 5:45 pm :: Big Kids {5 and up}

Egg Hunt Prize Sponsors

In addition to the TWO THOUSAND candy and toy stuffed eggs, our hunts are unique in that your kiddo will also have the chance to collect a few extra goodies from some of our gracious prize sponsors as well.  While each of the hunts will be replenished with new eggs and different prizes, we really don’t think your kids will leave without a variety of fun and family-friendly swag.  Oh, and no need to drag along baskets — as The Village School is so kindly providing each and every kid a reusable tote bag to collect their eggs and prizes in too!

Kelly D
Kelly is the founder of Houston Moms Blog and has lived in this beautiful city nearly all of her life. She has a degree in education from Texas State University and was honored to teach special education for eight years to some of the cutest little kiddos you could ever meet. While teaching, Kelly met Cody – a tall drink of water and country boy to the core – and together, they fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family. In March 2011, they welcomed Hayes into the world, a silly but smart little boy with a story you have to read to believe. And in April 2013, their family was complete with the addition of Hadley, a super gregarious and oh-so-cute baby girl. Now, Kelly devotes her days to caring for her own little ones…and would not trade this new job of hers for the world! In her not-so-spare time, Kelly loves meeting up with her girlfriends for margaritas, failing miserably at Pinterest projects, and exploring this big old city with her two favorite little side-kicks in tow.
