Picnic Science is a series of ongoing activities held outside at the picnic tables near the EcoStation.

Activity Hours: Every Saturday, Sessions starting at 3:00 and 4:00pm.

*These events are outdoors and will continue as long as weather permits. If weather conditions are poor, the event will be cancelled.

September 17: Nature Hunt with a Naturalist! – Go on a scavenger hunt around EcoStation to identify plants, animals, bugs, and things in the sky! Nature Constantly changes, so you could find something unique on each hunt!

September 24: Pond Exploration!   – Join the Wildlife Expert, Devon, to explore the organisms that live around and beneath the surface of EcoStation Pond!

October 1: Volcanic Eruption!   – Investigate volcanos and learn how to make your own volcano with some common household materials!

October 8: Animal Identification!   – Join the Wildlife Expert, Devon, to learn how to identify animals based on their droppings!
