With so much H-Town enjoyment to be had, it’s tough to find the best fit for your time, money and family. So, Houston Moms has done all the heavy lifting and created a weekend full of fun at a glance!

With extracurriculars in full swing, trips on deck and no shortage of fun things to do around Houston as we move out of winter-mode, UTMB Health wants to remind you to make time to prioritize the health of your kiddos by scheduling their annual well-check with their pediatrician or primary care provider. Willkommen, one and all! Celebrate German culture at this incredible heritage festival! There will be an astonishing line-up of vendors, entertainment spotlighting German traditions and contests! Enjoy the fun with your family!

Memorial Park

Houston’s iconic art festival and its outdoor gallery will shine light on the works of over 300 artists in 19 different categories. View and purchase original works of art in the forms of paintings, prints, sculptures, jewelry and more! The two entertainment stages, food trucks and beverage stations will keep you and your kids enjoying the festivities all day long!

The Crown Festival Park

Join in for the International Art & Kite Festival as it celebrates culture and community through art, music, dancing, and food. You don’t want to miss the kite-flying sites, art cars, chalk art and performances that represent the eclectic nature of our city!

Mary Gibbs and Jesse H. Jones Reflection Pool

A day full of fun and kite-flying? Sounds great! Mix in live music, a DJ, interactive games, activities and face painting? You’ve got a great way to spend the day with your family!

Zube Park

If you have a tiny train lover, you definitely don’t want to miss a free train ride! Every third Saturday of the month, the Houston Area Live Steamers welcome your family to a 12–15 minute ride of choo-choo joy!

Harvest Green Village Farm

Get up close and personal with what it takes to keep a farm running! The Village Farm at Harvest Green in Richmond offers tours of the farm, chances to learn about seasonal produce and sample produce! You’ll even get to visit with chickens and Nubian goats!
