Friday Favorites: Best Contemporary Romances for Your 2022 Reading List

One good thing to come out of this crazy pandemic is my dive back into reading. Last year, I devoured books while hiding away from the world, the anxiety, and the fears. Books are the best escape from a world that is scary and unknown.

But this year, the escape came from some good Contemporary Romance. One sweet, spicy, fun book after another led their way into my 2021 reading list.

This edition of Friday’s Finds brings you the best Contemporary Romance books for your TBR pile in 2022.

Here are some of the best:

  1. The Naked Fisherman (#2) – Jewel E. Ann
  2. The Lost Fisherman (#1) – Jewel E. Ann
  3. Love Hypothesis – Ali Hazelwood
  4. It Happened One Summer – Tessa Bailey
  5. The Spanish Love Deception – Elena Armas
  6. The Ex Talk – Rachel Lynn Soloman
  7. Soulmate Equation – Christina Lauren
  8. Float Plan – Trish Doller
  9. How to Fail at Flirting – Denise Williams

Recommending these books is almost as fun as reading them. Each book is definitely a great escape, but the bonus is there’s a story behind the love and spice. When the world outside looks bleak, open up one of these gems to escape! Then recommend it to a friend.

Kim R. was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but is a Texan now! She graduated from Texas A&M University {Whoop!} in 1999 and moved back to Houston to start her high school teaching/school counseling career. That Houston move resulted in meeting a cute next door neighbor at her apartment complex who later became her husband. Kim and that cute neighbor moved to the Cypress in 2005 where they now raise Griffin {October 2008} and Emmy {August 2013}. Life has had some hardships, and Kim is open to sharing her story of enduring grief and encouraging moms to take care of their mental health. Her other passions include reading all the books, watching reruns of Friends, sweating it out at Orangetheory Fitness, and a good margarita. Kim also believes in working hard to make each day better than the one before. Read more on her blog –
