Giveaway :: Brews, Bites, & Bids!

One of my absolute favorite things about living in Houston is that there is ALWAYS something fun and exciting to do, and today — I am so excited to let you in on one of our amazing sponsors and two upcoming events that you won’t want to miss!

First up, Brews, Bites, & Bids is happening THIS month on March 21st from 7-9:30pm at Rouse House Concerts.  The name pretty much says it all, but this event features wine and local beer {yes, please!}, food from local eateries {yummm!}, music from Tom Wilbeck and Leah White {rock on!}, and a silent auction fundraiser benefitting Heights Kids’ Day of Music {more on that below!}.  And the best part?  Tickets are just $12 a pop if you buy them online or $15 if you buy them at the door.  Such a steal, right???  Well, keep reading because one lucky mama is getting a pair of tickets FREE!

Then, just a few short weeks later the Heights Kids’ Day of Music is taking place on April 18th from 10am – 2pm at Love Park.  This family-friendly music festival is all about bringing local music to the families in our community. Activities include a main stage with performances by local bands every 40 minutes, a secondary stage with local business and non-profit highlights, and an instrument “petting zoo” that allows kids to experience band and orchestra instruments.  It’s going to be such a fun way to spend a Saturday with the family!

But first thing’s first, let’s give away that pair of tickets to Brews, Bites, & Bids, shall we?  Enter below!

Winner :: Richard H.

Kelly D
Kelly is the founder of Houston Moms Blog and has lived in this beautiful city nearly all of her life. She has a degree in education from Texas State University and was honored to teach special education for eight years to some of the cutest little kiddos you could ever meet. While teaching, Kelly met Cody – a tall drink of water and country boy to the core – and together, they fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family. In March 2011, they welcomed Hayes into the world, a silly but smart little boy with a story you have to read to believe. And in April 2013, their family was complete with the addition of Hadley, a super gregarious and oh-so-cute baby girl. Now, Kelly devotes her days to caring for her own little ones…and would not trade this new job of hers for the world! In her not-so-spare time, Kelly loves meeting up with her girlfriends for margaritas, failing miserably at Pinterest projects, and exploring this big old city with her two favorite little side-kicks in tow.
