Earlier this month, we partnered together with Girls Only Houston for a fun afternoon out! The comedy show was the perfect excuse for us to leave our husbands and kids at home and venture out into our beautiful city for some great laughs and yummy eats with both new and old friends.
Although no cameras were allowed inside Main Street Theater at Chelsea Market, it is super cozy and intimate. As soon as you walk in the doors, it feels as if you are actually part of the show. Just hanging out in one of your girlfriend’s childhood bedrooms. {And it also allows for some hilarious audience participation and improv opportunities too!} From their craft corner brought to you straight from Kotex to their own rendition of that super embarrassing middle school sex education talk, Tracy Ahern and Shondra Marie generated laugh after laugh. Not only are they super funny, but they’re extremely brave and they even do ballet. With panty hose. And they make one hot kick line. The Rockettes have nothing on these two. All of us were constantly nudging each other and buckled over in laughter from all of their antics that were oh-so-relatable as women and moms alike!
Right after the show, we once again all met up in the lobby for some delicious food catered in especially for us from Schwan’s Online Grocery Delivery Service. Our personal representative Holly was all set up with a beautiful spread of the most amazing four cheese penne with prosciutto and delightfully refreshing raspberry lemonade. It absolutely hit the spot after laughing away so many calories during the show.
