Mamas.
I’m going to need all of you to sit down for a moment. You may want to grab a paper bag to breathe into. Or pour yourself a generous glass of wine.
I’ll wait.
Houston-area Target stores announced over the weekend that they will no longer have Starbucks Cafes as part of their store layout. Starting early May, they will begin converting all of the existing Starbucks into Target-branded picture studios.
“As we have taken polls over the past year, we have found that many of our patrons do not perceive the need for caffeinated beverages while they shop aimlessly in the Dollar Spot,” a Target representative said. “Thus we decided we would optimize the space to help families create memories, much like we did growing up in the 80’s.”
I KNOW.
No more frothy fraps. No more non-fat chai tea lattes. No more cake pops to throw at your kiddos while you buy $120 worth of stuff you weren’t looking for in the first place. Sigh, mamas. Just sigh. I don’t even know how to shop at Target without a caffeine high.
Luckily, I don’t have to learn.
Happy April Fool’s Day, Mamas!!!
Well-played! I thought, “Picture studios? Is this a renewed trend? I haven’t seen many studio portraits in YEARS!” 😂
I love this! Target would NEVER think we don’t need caffeinated beverages while shopping in the dollar spot. They would, for sure, give us alcoholic beverages if they could get away with it.
u wrong for that–LOL
