Houston’s Best Family-Friendly Brunch Spots

It’s finally the weekend, and instead of cartoons you are wishing for a plate {or table} full of delicious breakfast foods. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Check out this list of the best family friendly brunch spots in Houston. Whether you are looking for some hometown country cooking, seafood, or maybe something a little more upscale, there is something here for everyone! Multiple Locations::

  1. Black Walnut Cafe – Classic, upscale, and absolutely delicious! This is definitely a place you have to check out. The Conroe location is at the Conroe Executive Airport; there is a great view of the airplanes taking off and landing!
  2. The Egg & I – Diner style classics made from scratch with fresh ingredients! You can never go wrong.
  3. Another Broken Egg – Southern style with a modern flair! A fun take on traditional diner classics and some of the most delicious healthy options!
  4. The Toasted Yolk – A little bit of everything here. Classics, chef- inspired, and lots of “made from scratch” dishes. There are currently 4 Houston area locations with 4 more on the way!
  5. Bellagreen – Your favorites that are fresh and made with natural ingredients! They also offer GF, Dairy Free and vegetarian dishes, too!
  6. First Watch Daytime Cafe – Omelettes, Eggs, and some seriously tasty healthy options. Classics for the kiddos, too!
  7. Snooze – The most creative breakfast options; there is something for everyone here! I have heard so many people {my husband included} rave about Snooze.

North ::

  1. Fielding’s Rooster {The Woodlands} – The most delicious array of chicken you’ll ever meet! You’ll be greeted by the giant metal chicken and enjoy the casual atmosphere. If you are a wing lover, just do it. Trust me! I mean what can go wrong with wings for brunch?!
  2. Eden Cafe {Magnolia} – Homemade cooking at it’s finest. Their weekend Breakfast {8am – 3pm on Saturday and Sunday} is the best part of our week! I am a classic breakfast taco lover, and my husband drools over the Bart’s Migas. You will not be disappointed!
  3. Hubble & Hudson Kitchen {The Woodlands} – Classic and gourmet are the two best words to describe the H&H Kitchen! You’ve been warned, their menu is extensive with so many delicious options!
  4. Levure Bakery and Patisserie {Tomball/Spring}- The cutest place in Tomball! French and European style deliciousness!

South ::

  1. Busy Bee Cafe {Pearland} – Homestyle country cooking! It’s known for the American classics that bring back good ole memories. Oh, and some really country style proportions! Bring your stretchy pants.

West ::

  1. Pecan Creek Grille {W. Houston} – The coolest rustic place with a variety of breakfasts… served all day! Here you can create the perfect plate with all of your favorites!
  2. Dish Society {Katy, Galleria, Memorial} – “Farm to Table” breakfasts {3 locations, too!} You have anything from traditional breakfasts to a little more modern. Can’t go wrong!
  3. Local Table {Katy} – From the same family that brought Hungry’s to the restaurant scene, this super-fresh concept combines a cool atmosphere with tons of kid-friendly options. Try the crab cake eggs benedict for a splurge!

Central ::

  1. Maryam’s Cafe – Coffee shop style breakfasts and sandwiches! Perfect for a quick bite in a cozy atmosphere! Famous for their Italian coffee, yum!
  2. Tiny’s No. 5 + Tiny Boxwoods  – An upscale restaurant with beautiful table settings! The ultimate brunch spot with an elegant flair. May be suitable for older kiddos?
  3. Liberty Kitchen – Fresh seafood and a little something for everyone! Some seriously drool-worthy seafood dishes that you don’t see anywhere else.
  4. Hugo’s – The best modern Mexican style brunch you’ll ever have! Live music from 11am – 2pm. Swoon.
  5. Lucille’s – Southern style dishes in the cutest vintage home! They even have Green Eggs & Ham!
  6. Adair Kitchen {Galleria} – This is another spot that popped up a few times when I asked around. One look at the menu and I’m in love! So many options that you can customize too! Avocado mash? Count me in!
