Mom:: How do you feel about the Corona Virus?

Desmond (5):: I don’t know how I feel. I don’t like people being sick.

Mom:: How do you feel about not being in school right now?

Desmond:: Sad. Because I miss my friends and my teachers.

Mom:: How do you feel about being at home?

Desmond:: Happy.

Mom:: What are you doing at home these days?

Desmond:: Playing. Learning. Drawing. Doing work. I have a tomato plant named little bing.

Mom:: Do you have anything else to say?

Desmond:: Yes. I’m thinking. I don’t like the sun. It’s so bright. It burns my eyes.

I like to play. I am 5. I love my family. I am a little and big brother. My favorite color is blue. I like rhinos. My favorite number is 7.
