Modernizing Your Banking :: How Regions Bank is Leading the Way

This post is sponsored by Regions Bank member FDIC. All thoughts are my own.

I’m gonna be honest here. I chose my bank based on which bank my parents had. It was easier when I was younger to have connected accounts with my mom, but now that I am older and independent, I need to refocus my banking. As a mom and a small business owner, I know how important a bank can be for my success. I’ve recently, thanks to previous Houston Moms Blog articles, found Regions Bank.

Regions offers a wide variety of products and services that help people focus more on life and worry less about money. Regions Bank operates approximately 1,453 branches and 1,965 ATMS across the South, Midwest and Texas. As of the end of 2018, there were 31 convenient locations around Houston. That sounds like a lot, but their commitment to Houston is shown in their newest 2019 locations!

It’s not hard to see why they are expanding and opening so many locations. They are modernizing. While other banks are stuck in Congressional hearings and busy counting the money they get in fees, Regions bank is modernizing. Their changes can offer more financial insights to help customers achieve their financial goals as well as offer more simplicity with branch banking through their new locations.

All new locations will be technologically-advanced, innovative branches, offering the company’s most modern features to-date and outfitted with new technology and more personal service. Now that we are adults we spend our time at dinner parties talking about 401K’s, insurance, IRAs, and all the boring things we have to think about. Regions helps provide us with the authority and confidence to have those discussions with friends.

Their services include cashing checks and accepting deposits to opening savings and checking accounts, to helping customers develop plans to reach their long-term financial goals. You gotta plan for the future, momma, and Regions can help.

All of the new branches offer the newest technologies, like ::

  • Regions’ Video Banking ATMs these Video Banking ATMs connect customers with a Regions Video Banker via live two-way video. Along with processing most teller transactions, Video Bankers can help customers with account maintenance and general inquiries.  They’re available during extended hours on weekdays as well as on weekends and most holidays.
  • DepositSmart ATM– customers will have access to Regions’ DepositSmart ATM, which can accept deposits and cash checks for customers at any time, day or night.
  • Facial recognition and fingerprint technology for customers using safe deposit boxes. This system employs several layers of technology designed to enhance security surrounding save deposit boxes while also improving efficiency of access for Regions customers.
  • Regions Virtual Concierge– Regions’ expert team of Virtual Concierge Bankers are are able to help with any question, from anywhere. They can talk customers through everything from Online Banking to Remote Check Deposits, as well as advise and guide customers on both short and long-term financial planning.   customers can also use Email, Chat, Phone and LinkedIn, providing even more options and flexibility to bank when and where you want.

Their customer service is also second-to-none. Regions is dedicated to providing award winning customer service to its customers and communities. This is why the brand is expanding in Houston with new, innovative branches to reach more customers in the Houston area and help them with their needs.

There’s no doubt that whether you prefer to bank online, through Regions mobile channels, or face-to-face in the branch, Regions is committed to helping HOUSTON customers reach their financial objectives.
