5 Mom Memes for When You Just Can’t

Sometimes … I just can’t. I just can’t with the toddler who won’t stop whining, with one more thing on my to-do list, with the baby who wants to be held all day, with the dishes in the sink, with the tragic events of this world, with perfect people, with bedtime routines. And I literally just can’t with ALL the laundry {but seriously, where does it all come from?!}. And don’t even get me started on the letters from the HOA, the toddler who refuses to say please and thank you, the husband who needs constant reminding, and unexpected expenses added to the already minuscule budget each month. Sometimes it just feels like it never ends. Days feel like months, and months feel like years. Please tell me you feel me on this?

I have a feeling you do, so while I have been stuck in a mindframe of “I just can’t” for the past couple of months, I’ve been depending on prayer and a little bit of humor to get me through each day. Because let’s be honest, even though sometimes I feel like I just can’t … I still have to. The baby still has to be fed and diapered, the toddler still needs help sitting on the potty, and the husband still needs someone to help manage our day to day lives. My favorite type of humor lately comes in the form of memes. My husband and my friends and I exchange them all day long, and they never fail to make me crack a smile even on the worst of days, which is why I wanted to share some of my favorites with y’all in hopes that they may do the same for you.

I think I need to make that last one my phone’s wallpaper. Ha! But seriously, the message in the last meme is exactly why I wanted to write this post. Being a mom, wife, employee, and all around decent human being is hard sometimes, but we’ve got this. We can and we will do it, and luckily, most of the difficult things we experience on a day to day basis are only temporary, a moment in time that won’t last forever. Next year the toddler won’t need help getting a drink of water and the baby will be feeding herself, and one day they may even do our dishes for us! So, hey girl, don’t worry…you got this!
