On Tuesday, September 20, Houston Moms hosted a Mom’s Night Out, Sip and Taste Cocktail event at Whiskey Cake. With about 40 local moms in attendance, there was fun to be had all around.

The sponsorship tables were busy with everyone shopping. Some women left with a new piece of jewelry from Kendra Scott, some left with a soft hand from Real Skin’s exfoliation duo back of hand treatment, and some left with less lines on their face from Pout Medspa’s Dysport treatment.
Houston Moms could not have hosted this event without the participation of our amazing sponsors. They truly made the experience so much fun for all of our attendees. Our moms felt celebrated and spoiled.
The Venue
From the moment you walked into Whiskey Cake you immediately felt a welcoming and upbeat vibe. The high top tables had cute menus that displayed the drink and food options. Moms had fun joining the bartenders in making their very own craft cocktails! The drinks were not only delicious but were aesthetically pleasing as well. The aroma throughout the restaurant from Whiskey Cake’s candles made everyone feel good. Or maybe it was from their Speakeasy Margarita.
The food was displayed across the center table and was a main focal point of the event. From the chicken and waffles to the blue cheese kettle chips, there was something to accommodate everyone’s flavor palate.
Giveaways
The giveaways are what really took this event to the next level! Our sponsors really elevated the event experience by being so generous with their gifts. Whiskey Cake offered three $100 gift cards to their restaurant, three bottles of wine, AND two of their delicious-smelling candles.
Erin with Real Skin TX gave away a sixty-minute facial and a skin care travel kit. I was so jealous of the facial winner. After talking with Erin, I know she’s so talented and passionate about what she does. Make sure you check out her spa parties where you and your girlfriends can rent out her space and treat yourself to an afternoon of massages, facials, cocktails, and more!
Deanna with Pout Medspa had the cutest gift basket and was super generous about filling it with all kinds of goodies for our winner. Deanna also travels around the city for her Pout Parties, so definitely add that to your list for your next girlfriend pampering sesh.
Kendra Scott gave away a three-piece jewelry set: earrings, necklace, and bracelet oh my! We had a lot of happy winners! Who doesn’t love Kendra Scott, amiright?
