RECAP :: Mom’s Night Out @ Mint Baby & Kids

Please Note :: We want to extend a most sincere thank you to our generous sponsors who helped make this event such a huge success! Mint Baby and Kids, Champps, The Tasting Room, Araya, Uplifting Bras,  Annie West and Valerie Ragusa, Epilady, and Katie Rehrer and Jessica Stevens from Rodan + Fields.  All of these gorgeous and fun shots were captured by Katrina of Junkyard Studios.

MNO - Venue

Despite the torrential downpours that took place earlier in the day with flooding all over Houston, our Mom’s Night Out was a huge success with a packed house and, most of all, A LOT of fun!  The chicken skewers, the tuna, and the vegetables from Champps were utterly delicious and was a perfect match to their paired wine as well as the wine donated by Uptown’s own The Tasting Room.  No party is complete without dessert, and the trays of chocolate and gourmet marshmallows from Araya were gone quickly with members of our contributor team talking about these delicious goodies for weeks afterwards. Our contributor team always has a lot of fun and great laughs when together, and it was so amazing to meet many of our readers and followers at this event.  Seriously, we have the best group of supporters, and we truly appreciate each and every one of you.

MNO - Food and Drink

Many moms snagged some great deals from Mint Baby and Kids thanks to their in-store special the night of the event.  {I came home with a few things for my kiddos, but shhhh – don’t tell my husband.}  The entire store smelled ah-mazingly good thanks to Annie West and Valerie Ragusa and their essential oils.  I loved learning about all the health benefits to their oils, and I can not wait to get started with my own kit soon.   Speaking of new goodies, Kelly took home an epilator from Epilady, and she said that her legs are feeling smoother than ever and completely bathing suit ready.  Moms learned all about Rodan + Fields from Katie Rehrer and Jessica Stevens, and I personally fell in love with their macro exfoliator. It’s already on my Christmas list.  And it’s only June.  I know I have raved about Uplifting Bras before, but they had a happening little booth set up in the back near the fitting rooms.  I hope some of you walked away with some great bras – I can’t stop wearing mine.

MNO - Sponsors

Most touching was the donations the attendees brought in for Ronald McDonald House Houston from the RMHH’s Wish List.  You guys blew our socks off with this — thank you for your generosity.  Have I mentioned that we have the best readers and community?
