Spring Eggstravaganza :: An Eggceptionally Fun Time!

We were so incredibly egg-cited to host our this year’s Spring Eggstravaganza! Despite the quick, yet nasty, storms that rolled through the greater Houston area hours before our event, we had a great time hunting eggs, showcasing our sponsors and giving out some awesome swag!

First and foremost, we want to take time to thank our title sponsor, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land! Memorial Hermann is the largest not-for-profit Health System in Southeast Texas and that means that no matter what you need, you can find health care services and providers that put patient care first. They are ranked in the top 15 of *national* healthcare systems and offer leading edge treatment right here in Houston! Memorial Hermann is here for Houston moms and our families. Of course, the event would not be possible without our amazing venue host, Constellation Field, home of the Sugar Land Skeeters. This ballpark is SO family friendly. They truly have something there for every member of the family, and with events throughout the year, it is an attraction not to be missed. Birthday parties, holiday lights, a baseball game – you name it, and they offer it.

We Rock the Spectrum – Sugar Land is a sponsor we were so incredibly excited to have at this event! Their water bead station was an absolute hit for all of our guests! They are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration and safe sensory experiences. They provide children with a fun and motivational environment to help them in the areas of strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills. Their unique equipment assists all children in their neurological growth and development.

SwimLabs Sugar Land knows the better you can see your stroke, the faster you can improve it. So from young kids who are just learning to swim to competitive swimmers who need an added edge, their unique facility provides instant video feedback that transforms swim instruction. It’s the same techniques and technologies used by Olympic swimmers. Be sure to contact them for all your swim lesson needs.

Kendra Scott was on hand from their Sugar Land location with an AMAZING pop up shop. They brought some of the most beautiful pieces and we definitely saw a few Dads sneaking in a little Mother’s Day shopping for the important ladies in their life.

Club SciKidz is the best place under the sun for extraordinary summers! Club SciKidz Houston (CSKH) is Houston’s (and surrounding area) premiere summer Science day camp. There are currently two Sugar Land Summer Camp locations and one Katy Summer Camp location. CSKH provides authentic, immersive, and application-based experiences.  What a great option to prevent that summer learning loss – summer is just around the corner!

Children’s book author Kayla Lopez was at our event. She is a young self-published author who grew up in Houston and has written The King’s Egg. This book shows children the importance of honesty in life with main characters who are emperor penguins named King Ray and Queen Loya. The book is an adorable addition to any children’s collection and available on Amazon if you weren’t able to snag one there.

IDEA Lab was another great sponsor. From preschool curriculum to after school programs, birthday parties and more, IDEA Lab has got everyone covered! They offer some fabulous programs  in the ultimate Design-Based-Learning environment while providing a FUN hands-on experience. They offer a diverse set of programs from coding to cooking and are a great place to keep those little minds working all throughout the year!

And last but not least, Toddler Towns brought the fun for the littlest attendees! They are Houston’s original Soft Play Rental Company that delivers a safe, fun, and creative atmosphere directly to you. Our Soft Play Towns can be set up in any indoor/outdoor environment including homes, gyms, classrooms, preschools, and special event venues. With a variety of equipment from ball pits to crawl tubes, tunnel mazes and more, we guarantee to keep children entertained for hours in imaginative and exploratory play.

We were so thrilled to have Julia Jordan Photography on hand to take photos of our event! Almost all of the photos featured here are by Julia, so be sure to check her out for any family photo needs in the future. And no Easter photo is complete without some festive decor to make it pop! The Yard Card Kids provided all of our festive signage! They are available to decorate your yard for any occasion you can think of.

Every child left with an amazing swag bag with goodies from brands including Kwik Stix tempera paints, Nature Nate’s Honey, Chick-Fil-A, University Pediatric Dentistry, KIND Bars, Kendra Scott, GoGo SqueeZ, Smashmallow, Jambalaya Girl, OOLY, and more! And we were so excited to have giveaways items from the Houston Zoo, Children’s Museum of Houston and Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, Alley Theatre, Julia Jordan Photography and Gymboree Play & Music – Missouri City!

Thanks again to all of our sponsors, families and volunteers who braved the weather and made it out to Constellation Field for our 2019 Spring Eggstravaganza!
