Last year, I was that mom standing in the Valentine’s Day card section of Target, the day before the class party, with only the gross candy options left. It was a total rookie mistake. It was my oldest child’s first year having a Valentine’s Day party, and I had no clue that everything ran out. No worries, lesson learned. And, I vowed to never ever be that mom again. So this year, I started looking at card options at the beginning of January. I must say, when you don’t wait until the last minute, there are so many cute Valentine’s Day card options out there! I thought I would share some of those with y’all.
Love Bug Valentine Cards: I ordered these completely put together because I’m all about a convenience fee, but since it’s getting closer to the actual day, that is no longer an option. Don’t worry! The good news is the digital files are available for purchase and you can print and add your own gummy worms for a fun spin. If your kids are into bugs, these are for you!
I Dig You Cards: Another cute {and edible} option are these “I dig you” printables from the same shop! Grab some M&Ms and a shovel and presto!
Color My World Cards: If you’re looking for something that is interactive but not of the edible variety, these cute paint cards are a great option. I love that all supplies are included so it’s the perfect activity.
Space Rocket Coloring Cards: Another great option I found that doesn’t include food are these cute rocket coloring cards! With COVID happening and not seeing friends and family, I ordered these to send some happy mail to some of our friends with kids! Not only are these great for classes, but they’re the perfect size to send a mail surprise if your friends have kids.
Scratch-off Stamp Cards: Y’all know I love to keep it local and if you do too, head on over to Noted Paper Goods in the Heights {in person or online} and purchase the cute little scratch-off stamp cards for your kiddos! I always love a good scratch-off!
Mini Valentine’s Day Sensory Kits: Another fun and local option are these mini sensory kits that are Valentine’s Day themed from Young Wild and Friedman! She seriously has the best sensory kits and they’re always gaurunteed to keep your kid entertained for at least an hour. She also has a larger version that you can order for at home and a smaller version that are perfect for class party favors.
If you’re stuck in a rut with Valentine’s Day card ideas, hopefully one of these give you some inspiration!
