A Fun Filled Summer at The Village School’s Summer Camp 2022

We are proud to partner with The Village School to share with Houston Moms about a great summer camp opportunity for kids!

group of kids relaxed and smilingThe weather is warming up and the school year is winding down. Just this week I’ve been thinking that it’s time to start making those all-important summer plans for my kids. Of course, I want them to have a break and relax, but I also don’t want them laying around the house on screens all summer. I want them active, both physically and mentally, with plenty of opportunities to socialize with friends. And, as a working mom, I need activities for them to do that last a good part of the day, not just a few hours.

Thankfully, I discovered The Village School’s Summer Camp 2022! This camp is the perfect opportunity for my kids to get out of the house, meet new friends, and have a lot of fun!

A Summer Camp that Fits a Family’s Schedule

The Village School’s Summer Camp 2022 is open to all students (Village and Non-Village) for rising Pre-K3 through 8th grade. Camp runs for 8-weeks, from May 31 – July 22. I can sign my kids up for as many or as few weeks as I wish. The camp hours are great as well- from 9:00 am- 3:30 pm. And, there are options for extended care in both the morning and afternoon too. This will be a lifesaver on days I have to stay at work a few extra hours as I won’t have to arrange additional childcare. Oh, and the best part: lunch is included in the cost of camp! No stressing about packing lunches for this mom!

Fantastic, Fun Themes

Each week of The Village School’s Summer Camp 2022 has a different theme, and all of them sound fantastic. We might have to sign up for all 8 weeks because picking our favorite theme might prove impossible! My 6-year-old son is super excited about Spy Kids Week and my 9-year-old daughter can’t wait for Chopped Cooking Week.

In addition to the themes, kids who attend The Village School’s Summer camp will enjoy daily water activities, arts and crafts, and fun and games. I just know they will have a blast making new friends and having non-stop fun.

Register Today!

I am feeling such a weight lifted that I won’t have to spend the next few months searching all over the city for summer camp options for my kids that fit our family’s schedule. This camp meets all our needs and I know my kids are going to meet so many new friends and have amazing new experiences.

Registration is open now- I’ll be registering mine and know they are going to have the best summer of their lives at The Village School’s Summer Camp 2022! For additional information about summer camp, you can email [email protected].

After two years of navigating the world of special needs parenting, Elizabeth and Ryan were blessed with Charlotte {Jan 2013} and Nolan {Sept 2015}, perfectly completing their party of five. Elizabeth and her crew live in Katy, and when she can steal a few moments for herself, she can be found out for Mexican food and margaritas with girlfriends, binge-listening to podcasts and audiobooks, or trying once again {unsuccessfully} to organize her closet.
