What Parents Should Know About Cardiac Arrest in Children

We are thankful to our partners at UTMB Health for providing important information to our audience about cardiac arrest in young adults.

Millions of people were shaken around the nation last Monday night when Damar Hamlin, free safety for the Buffalo Bills, collapsed in the 1st quarter from a cardiac arrest. Safe to say, we are all thrilled that he is seemingly recovering well from such a trauma. In light of this event, our friends at UTMB Health wanted to share important information with you, including:

  • The difference between cardiac arrest and a heart attack
  • What parents should keep in mind as it relates to cardiac arrest
