Activities & Eats

There is no doubt that this birthday party is going to be totally and completely OVER. THE. TOP.  For starters, our sponsors at Sky High Sports are letting us shut down and take over the entire facility.  If you have yet to jump there, your whole family is in for a definite treat!  With trampolines on the floors, the walls, and everywhere in between – there is so much fun to be had by all.  But we have to admit, it is guaranteed to make you work up a sweat and undoubtedly need a little break or two…which is why we have called in MORE of our sponsors and friends to bring in additional fun and some delicious eats and sweets too!

If you have tiny ones, be sure to stop by and see The Little Gym who will have a baby and toddler station set up with lots of mats and toys.  Then, head over and create masterpieces with your kiddos courtesy of a craft station from Baby Boot Camp.  Don’t miss Paint My Face who will be there doing beautiful face painting the first half of the event and then balloon art until the end.  And just for the moms and dads, Massage Heights Town & Country will be on hand to give out chair massages for those in need!

After you work up a hunger, head over and visit Reginelli’s for their delicious cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, AND avocado and asparagus salad.  Yum!  But save room for all the sweets!  The Little Crane will have a fun ice cream sundae station complete with all the toppings…as well as some of their precious kid’s clothing that will be up for sale too!  Then, go see Mister French’s Gourmet Bakery for a cookie decorating station so you can take a treat for the road.  Or eat there.  We won’t tell!  Just be sure to stay for the cake cutting because Cakes by Gina is preparing an outrageous birthday cake and tons of cupcakes for everyone to enjoy as well!  Don’t worry – Stafford Events will have a fun drink station with lots of choices to wash it all down, and they are bringing lots of fun decorations for the event and a few surprises too!

Lunches of Love

As with all of our major events, we have a chosen charity of choice – and this time it is Lunches of Love.  LOL’s mission is to help end childhood hunger by providing a free, nutritious sack lunch to designated parts of Houston.  We could not think of a better way to teach our children about the power of giving than by asking each family in attendance to bring an item {or several!} off of LOL’s wishlist.  Specifically, Lunches of Love is currently seeking individual 7 oz. canned pasta {must have a pop top or be in a microwavable bowl}, 100% fruit juice boxes or pouches, Easy Mac, and individual fruit cups.  And for every item you bring, we will give you an additional giveaway ticket too!

The hashtag is #HMBbdaybash.

Just like with all of our events, we encourage the use of social media leading up to and all throughout the event as a fun way to connect with new friends and build our community.  Our dear friend and trusted photographer Amanda from Momma’s Gonna SNAP will be on hand to capture the event from her lens, but we would LOVE for you to get those camera phones out and share the fun too!

Please Note :: Tickets are non-refundable, and this event will happen rain or shine.  With advance notice, we will attempt to connect you with another mom who is interested in purchasing your ticket should the need arise.  Also, by purchasing this ticket you understand that your photo or that of your child may be taken and give permission for Houston Moms Blog to use it on their site, in promotional materials, and/or on their social media platform.

Thank you again to all of our major sponsors that are partnering with our team to make this event a success. If you have not yet, click HERE to buy your tickets!

Kelly D
Kelly is the founder of Houston Moms Blog and has lived in this beautiful city nearly all of her life. She has a degree in education from Texas State University and was honored to teach special education for eight years to some of the cutest little kiddos you could ever meet. While teaching, Kelly met Cody – a tall drink of water and country boy to the core – and together, they fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family. In March 2011, they welcomed Hayes into the world, a silly but smart little boy with a story you have to read to believe. And in April 2013, their family was complete with the addition of Hadley, a super gregarious and oh-so-cute baby girl. Now, Kelly devotes her days to caring for her own little ones…and would not trade this new job of hers for the world! In her not-so-spare time, Kelly loves meeting up with her girlfriends for margaritas, failing miserably at Pinterest projects, and exploring this big old city with her two favorite little side-kicks in tow.
