>> THE EGG HUNTS <<
To promote a safe, calm, FUN and child-friendly event we will be having 4 egg hunts (divided by age group) in the outfield of the ball park. There will be one entrance into the egg hunt area, so children will line up with their age group and enter as is safe.
Each egg hunt will last 15 minutes, and then prizes and eggs will be refreshed after each hunt. The age limits below are meant to be a guide. We realize you know your child’s developmental age and abilities better than anyone so please use your judgment. If you have any questions, just contact us.
2:30 :: 1 and under (NON-WALKERS / crawlers)
2:45 :: 2-3 years old (solid walkers / able to run)
3:00 :: 1-2 years old (i.e. walking but still mastering it; children who just turned 2)
3:15 :: 4 and Older

>> PRESENTING SPONSORS <<
This event would not be possible without our amazing venue host, Constellation Field, home of the Sugar Land Skeeters. What a family-friendly ball park! They truly have something there for every member of the family, and with events throughout the year, it is an attraction not to be missed. Birthday parties, holiday lights, a baseball game – you name it, and they offer it.
We Rock the Spectrum – Sugar Land is a sponsor we are so incredibly excited to have at our Spring Eggstravaganza! They are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration and safe sensory experiences. They provide children with a fun and motivational environment to help them in the areas of strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills. Their unique equipment assists all children in their neurological growth and development.
IDEA Lab will also be kicking off the spring season with us at our event! From preschool curriculum to after school programs, birthday parties and more, IDEA Lab has got everyone covered! They offer some fabulous programs in the ultimate Design-Based-Learning environment while providing a FUN hands-on experience. They offer a diverse set of programs from coding to cooking and are a great place to keep those little minds working all throughout the year!
Kendra Scott will also be on hand from their Sugar Land location with an AMAZING pop up shop. Need to get some Mother’s Day shopping? Grab something beautiful for that amazing mom in your life while your kids are having a blast at the egg hunt or on the playground. We can’t wait to see what gorgeous baubles they bring!

The experiences have loads of engagement, are fun, and planned with plenty of hands-on science (S), technology (T), engineering (E), art (A) and mathematics (M) opportunities.
We are also excited to have children’s book author Kayla Lopez at our event. She is a young self-published author who grew up in Houston and has written The King’s Egg. This book shows children the importance of honesty in life with main characters who are emperor penguins named King Ray and Queen Loya. Be sure to check out her booth – what great addition to your child’s Easter basket!

Thank you for continuing to put on great programming for moms and kids. Unfortunately I feel like this event missed the mark. I don’t know if it was the weather that changed things, but it was not worth the $60 we paid for 4 tickets. The swag bag left A LOT to be desired, the fact that there were no food options other than the free popsicle and was extremely disappointing (we should have at least had concessions or food trucks). Our 3 year olds didn’t enjoy the egg hunt (probably because all of the eggs had to be put in an small area where they were visible at once due to weather), and we found ourselves just standing around wondering what was next. I’ve been to your events in the past and felt like they were worth the price of admission because of the experience and value received with the swag. This event overall was lackluster and I would encourage you to consider scaling back on the ticket price if future events will be similar.
