It’s NOVEMBER! That’s right, November 2020. We are going to make it out of 2020; only two months left!

Just in case you have missed it, we have brought back Cookies with Santa in a new way! Out of abundance of caution for your family, Houston Moms in partnership with Kelsey-Seybold, will have a drive thru experience for your family.

Expect pictures with Santa {yes! He will be in a snow globe to respect social distancing!}, treats to being your “ride” through Kelsey-Seybold’s Winter Wonderland, a Santa mail drop off, fantastic sponsors to interact with, plus a cookie decorating kit to take home with a chance to win a HUGE grand prize for best decorated cookie.

As always, we will have overstuffed swag bags AND multiple opportunities to win great giveaways. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 9th at 10am. Be sure to set your calendar reminders as we fully anticipate our *VERY* limited tickets to go quickly.
For your convenience 2 locations and dates will be offered::

Daily | 11am :: Children’s Museum of Houston’s Virtual Learning

If you cannot or do not wish to visit the Children’s Museum during their first days back, they completely understand and look forward to welcoming you when you feel more comfortable returning to the Museum.  In the meantime, keep visiting, connecting, and learning with their online stars by tuning into their Forbes-approved Daily Virtual Learning Broadcast Schedule on their social media pages.  So far, their Virtual Learning has generated nearly 3-million views on all platforms combined!  And Forbes said, “the warm personalities of their employees and community members jump right off the screen and make for an engaging and informative experience.” If you haven’t already, you can find all of their content on their YouTube channel.

Every Wednesday | 11am :: Houston Zoo’s Facebook Live

Each weekday, the zoo is hosting an 11:00 a.m. CST Facebook Live to bring the Zoo to YOU! They will be sharing daily updates of what our furred, flippered, and feathered friends are up to and how our zookeepers are caring for them while we are closed. Follow along and check out the fun at-home-learning activities below!

Check out our Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival Page! Some are still open in November.

Jennifer is a native outside-the-loop’er growing up and living in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. She has a Bachelors in theology and political science from Texas Lutheran University and a Masters in Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University. She and her husband Greg met in 2010 through Match.com and fell in love on their first date. They married exactly one year later and have fought lovingly and constantly since. They have two amazingly brilliant girls, Kaitlyn {June 2013} and Elizabeth {June 2015} who Jen stays home with during the day. When Jen is not curled in a little ball rocking back and forth with Peppa Pig on in the background, she can be found crafting with her Silhouette and/or binge watching The Office for the millionth time. Jen has an uncanny ability to be comfortable in almost any situation put in front of her, thanks to growing up in politics and on the debate team. Before having kids of her own, she had the opportunity to help other kids through teaching, youth ministry, and generally being a helpful, kind soul. You can check out more about Jen on IG @themommymiddle.
